Thomas A. Henn, 77, of Little Rock, passed away August 12, 2012. Born in Elgin, Nebraska to Frank Joseph and Ester Schafer Henn, he was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Thomas was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Optimist Club, Jaycees and the American Welding Society.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia Montgomery Henn; children, Cheryl A. Grimmett and husband, Randy of Oklahoma City, Marilyn P. Wells and husband, John of Little Rock, Carolyn L. Henn, of Dallas, Texas, Patrick W. Henn of Michigan and Cynthia M. Henn, of Little Rock; brothers, Don Henn of Iowa and David Henn of Rock Island, Illinois; sister, Ruth Proud of Pleasant Forest, Illinois; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Thomas’ world was his family. He was a loving and generous husband, a giving and supportive father. He lived a life of great humor and adventure. In his 77 years, he visited all 50 U.S. states and dozens of foreign countries. Thomas was our rock and will be greatly missed as we try to go forward without his huge presence in our lives.
